I’ve loved and played soccer since I was four years old. In 2004, I finally got to watch FC Barca on TV, and Messi walked on the pitch, marking the beginning of an era, and that was it for me. I met part of the team in 2009 here in Dallas, visited Camp Nou in 2019, visited with part of the team in 2022, and again in 2023, I had the pleasure of meeting President Joan Laporta and part of the executive team. I am honored to be the Penya president and hope to meet you all soon.

I was born and spent my early years in Madrid, Spain. So from a young age, I was exposed to soccer and, above all, to the Clásicos. It was my older brother who inspired me to become a Barça fan, but I fell in love with the team once I saw the way they played—and especially when I saw Ronaldinho.
As I grew up, I watched them win several titles, learned more about the team’s history, and came to understand the meaning of « més que un club »

I’m from Aguascalientes, Mexico, but my family moved to Texas when I was really young. I grew up playing football and watching YouTube videos of Messi and Neymar dribbling past defenders like it was nothing. During the 2013–2014 season, when Messi and Neymar started playing together, everything changed for me. From that point on, I watched every Barça match I could. Even though I was the type of kid who could never sit still, I’d stay glued to every minute of every game. Their connection on the field was something I had never seen before. Watching Barça became my escape, it brought me joy no matter what was going on in life. For a long time, that love for the club was something I experienced on my own. Finding Barça Dallas changed that. Now I get to share this same passion with people who feel it just as deeply as I do and that makes it even more special.

Futbol has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up in Mexico surrounded by a strong futbol culture, where the game is more than just a sport. it’s passion, family and identity. I’ve been a Barcelona fan since I was a kid, especially during the unforgettable years when Rafa Márquez and Ronaldinho played together. As a proud Mexican and lifelong Chivas de Guadalajara supporter, seeing Rafa succeed at Barça made that connection even more special for me, even if he originally came from Atlas.
One of the most unforgettable experiences of my life was attending an El Clásico in Madrid wearing my Barcelona jersey. Surrounded by thousands of Real Madrid fans, I received plenty of insults and comments throughout the day, but honestly, I loved every second of it. Being able to proudly carry these colors with me into that stadium is something I will never forget.
I played futbol for many years and spent countless hours on the field until my knees finally decided it was time to slow down. Even though I no longer play the way I used to, my love for the game has never changed.
Today, some of my favorite players are Fermín, Pedri, Rafa and Lamine because they represent the passion, creativity and identity that make Barcelona unique.
My dream is to help grow the Barcelona culture and love for the club across every corner of the United States. I want to help build academies that develop players not only with talent, but also with the values and style that represent Barça. Most importantly, I hope to help discover and guide future stars who may one day defend these beautiful colors.
Visca Barça!

I started watching Barça in 2005/2006, when my dad, who played professional soccer in Guatemala for 10 years of his life, would always show me highlights of Ronaldinho and the magical plays he would do down the left wing, just before I’d go to bed, since I was barely 10-11 at the time. It was around this time that my dad participated in a tournament called the Master’s Cup in Dallas, and it was then that I started falling in love with football, beginning with the Guatemala national team, FC Dallas, and Barcelona. The players that stood out to me the most at this time were Ronaldinho, Messi, and Xavi. I began watching football more, and the Pep Guardiola Tiki-Taka style of football is what made me truly love Barcelona and their football, their culture, and to this day, it is what makes me continue to be a Blaugrana supporter, through thick and thin. Visca y Força el Barça!!!!!
